GOALS Our goals are: 1. To act as a contact and support group for writers in the Flin Flon and Creighton area 2. To improve the craft of our writing through critiquing and workshops 3. To link with other writing organizations to provide information about the writing community on a provincial and national basis.
MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month from September to June. A short business session is held from 7:30 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. From September-October and from April to June meetings take place in the Archives Room of the Flin Flon Public Library, 58 Main Street. During the winter months, meetings take place in members' homes. Phone 687-6647 or e-mail for further information. Facilitators present workshops on various topics of writing that may be used in any genre of writing. Meetings also include a sharing of writing. Critiquing sessions are also held.
